Cleveland County Democratic Party
Cleveland County, Oklahoma

UPDATE:  The original statement said was convicted of felony domestic violence.  We apologize for the error.

As you may have heard by now, Noah Ynclan, one of two Democratic candidates for OK Senate District 45,  pleaded guilty in 2013 to domestic abuse in the presence of a child and served probation. Violence against women (or anyone) is reprehensible and goes against everything the Democratic Party stands for.

As such, the Cleveland County Democratic Party Central Committee has voted to renounce Noah Ynclan as a candidate for SD 45 and calls for him to formally withdraw from this race. Thus, as of June 24, 2017, the Cleveland County Democratic Party officially endorses Steven Vincent as the Democratic candidate and we will give him our full support in the race for SD 45.

We hope our fellow Democrats across the region will do the same.

In solidarity,

Krystal Golding-Ross
